摘要: Postpartum psychosis is a rare but severe psychiatric disorder. Its diagnostic status remains controversial, several studies have shown that the majority of patients who develop immediately following childbirth suffer from bipolar The pathophysiology postpartum poorly understood, factors such as primiparity, difficult labor, genetic predisposition, and hormonal changes been suggested etiological factors. This paper reviews literature on relationship sleep disruption psychosis. It argued loss resulting interaction various putative causal may be final common pathway in development susceptible women. Clinical significance these findings, including strategies to prevent psychosis, are discussed suggestions made for future research directions.
