摘要: The flame extinction limits of syngas (H2‐CO) flames were measured using a twin-flame counterflow burner. Plots (%f: volumetric percent fuel in air) versus global stretch rates generated at different blend compositions and extrapolated to determine the limit corresponding an experimentally unattainable zero-stretch condition. H2‐CO mixtures decreases with increase H2 concentration mixture. average difference between Le Chatelier’s calculation is around 7% mean value. OH chemiluminescence data indicates that regardless composition radical reduces critical value prior extinction. laminar velocity close composition, premixed hydrogen blends extinguishes when mixture falls below
