摘要: Background: Fine particulate matters with aerodynamic diameters smaller than 2.5 micrometers (PM2.5) have been a critical environmental problem in China due to the rapid road vehicle growth recent years. To date, most methods available estimate traffic contributions ambient PM2.5 concentration are often hampered by need for collecting data on volume, type and emission profile. Objective: develop simplified indirect method contribution of Beijing, China. Methods: Hourly data, daily meteorological geographic information were collected at 35 air quality monitoring (AQM) stations Beijing between 2013 2014. Based concentrations different AQM station types, two-stage comprising dispersion model generalized additive mixed (GAMM) was developed separately non-traffic concentration. The geographical trend investigated using linear model. temporal non-linear relationship conditions assessed GAMM. Results: medians during 2013–2014 ranged from 40 92 μg/m3. There significant increasing north south. 17.2% 37.3% an average 30%. greatest found near busy roads. On average, urban 14% higher that rural stations. Conclusions: Traffic emissions account substantial share total Beijing. Our is useful convenient tool ecological epidemiological studies when there limited number types
