摘要: To investigate biochemical, histochemical and contractile properties associated with strength training detraining, six adult males were studied during after 10 weeks of dynamic for the quadriceps muscle group one leg, as well a subsequent 12 detraining. Peak torque outputs at velocities tested (0-270 degrees X s-1) increased (p less than 0.05) by 39-60% 12-37% trained untrained legs, respectively. No significant changes in peak torques observed control subjects same times. Significant decreases performance leg (16-21%) (10-15%) only Training resulted an increase area FTa (21%) FTb (18%) fibres, while detraining was 12% decrease fibre cross-sectional area. However, noted leg. Neither nor detaining had any effect on specific activity magnesium-activated myofibrillar ATPase or activities enzymes phosphagen, glycolytic oxidative metabolism serial biopsy samples from both legs. In absence enzyme modest FT areas alterations legs suggest that neural adaptations play prominent role
