摘要: The influence of free metal stearates, other soaps and fatty acids on the water sensitivity modern oil paint swatches from three brands artists’ manufactured tube paints was investigated. produced in 2006 tested for 2008 were re-tested, changes recorded. This included novel method sample preparation gas chromatography coupled mass spectrometry (GC/MS) quantitative analysis dicarboxylic related soaps. It is therefore likely polymeric/ionomeric network plays an important role sensitivity. showed acid efflorescence linked high levels (FFA) swatch extent proportional results found GC/MS analyses.
