摘要: Metal soaps and resinates are known to be spontaneously formed in artistic paintings, as a product of the reaction between aliphatic terpenoid acids released by hydrolysis oxidation organic media certain cations contained some inorganic pigments. In this paper we present an optimization validation GC/MS method for qualitative quantitative analysis mixtures mono dicarboxylic metal carboxylates same paint microsample. This is based on two-step analytical approach entailing subsequent use two silylating agents, N,O-bis(trimethylsilyl)trifluoroacetamide free carboxylates, 1,1,1,3,3,3-hexamethyldisilazane acids. The application possible because good stability at room temperature TMS derivatives species, characterized high boiling points relatively low vapour pressures. was then applied characterization samples collected from reference layers aged 20 years, sample taken pulpit, varnish coating wooden writing desk, both second half seventeenth century.
