摘要: Abstract Purpose The aims of the study were to effect Fowler-Stephens orchiopexy (FSO) on testicular histology and assess feasibility using monopolar diathermy as an alternative clip ligation during laparoscopic FSO. Patients Methods included 20 patients with intraabdominal testes short vessels managed by laparoscopic-staged Biopsies taken from first second stages procedure for histologic comparison. in divided into 2 groups according method dividing stage 1. 13 (group A) vessels, whereas was used following 7 B). Results Biopsy findings at revealed overall reduction both total number germ cells per tubule mean diameter seminiferous tubules, there no statistically significant difference between results A B. Conclusion can withstand (survive) main blood supply testis be clipping procedures, having advantages lower expenses smaller instruments.
