摘要: Haptic feedback on touch-sensitive displays provides significant benefits in terms of reducing error rates, increasing interaction speed and minimizing visual distraction. This particularly holds true for multitasking situations such as the with mobile devices or touch-based in-vehicle systems. In this paper, we explore how tactile touchscreens can be modeled enriched using a 2+1 state transition model. The model expands an approach presented by Buxton. We present HapTouch -- force-sensitive touchscreen device haptic that allows user to manipulate interactive elements sense touch. describe results preliminary quantitative study investigate effects driver's attention, driving performance operating rate. particular, focus active accurate small on-screen during driving. Our show significantly reduced rates input time when is given.
