Prioritization of factors influencing employee adoption of e-government using the analytic hierarchy process

摘要: Purpose Government employees have various challenges of adopting e-government which include administrative problems, technological challenges, infrastructural lack trust on computer applications, security concerns and the digital divide. The purpose this paper is to identify most salient factors that influence employee adoption in India as perceived by government involved service delivery. Design/methodology/approach The first identifies different influencing basis literature review then finds their relative importance prioritizing them using analytic hierarchy process (AHP). AHP a multi-criteria decision-making (MCDM) tool combines all into hierarchical model quantitatively measures through pair-wise comparisons (Saaty, 1980). Eleven been identified, are categorized under four main factors, namely, “employee’s personal characteristics”, “technical factors”, “organizational factors” “trust”. data pertaining sub-factors related study collected from ten senior working with departments bodies Government National Capital Territory Delhi. Findings Based results obtained, findings reveal two important intention adopt e-government.
