摘要: AbstractInteraction between the wind-driven shear current and Stokes drift velocity induced by surface gravity waves gives rise to Langmuir turbulence in upper ocean. consists of circulation (LC) characterized a wide range scales. In unstratified shallow water, largest scales engulf entire water column thus are referred as full-depth LC. Large-eddy simulations (LESs) with LC have revealed that vertical mixing due erodes bottom log-law profile, inducing profile resembling wake law. Furthermore, interior column, two sources Reynolds stress, turbulent (nonlocal) transport local production, can combine lead negative mean shear.
