Study of glass formation in the Sb2O3–PbO–MnO ternary system

摘要: Abstract Vitreous systems based on antimony oxide Sb 2 O 3 have been investigated. The influence of MnO substitution the mechanical and physical properties in (80 −  x )Sb –20PbO– (70 −  –(30 −  )PbO–2 has studied. Vickers hardness, density, molar volume, Young modulus, glass temperature transition, infrared UV transmission spectra depend concentration. Crack analysis surface under indentor deformation shows tenacity changes according to concentration MnO.
