Force constants and form of vibration of sulfur dioxide from infrared spectrum of S18O2

摘要: Abstract The infrared absorption spectrum of S18O2 in the gaseous state has been obtained for first time. A rotational study type B bands enabled us to obtain with precision band centers and constants fundamental excited vibrational states. Nine fundamental, harmonic, combination have recorded, enabling analyze zero-order wave numbers: ω 1 = 1113.9 8 cm −1 ; 2 505.3 0 3 1335.1 . With numbers S16O2, these results make possible calculation force (mdyn A−1) ƒ r 10.42; rr 0.12; α 0.821; 0.37; form vibrations, Coriolis coupling constants, inertia defects.
