摘要: Forty-one accessions of the genusBeta representing wild and cultivated species all sections were analyzed by DNA “fingerprinting”. Four sugar beet minisatellite probes revealed characteristic banding patterns with Southern-hybridizedBeta restricted withHindIII. A total 111 polymorphic RFLP bands scored across accessions. Cluster analysis based on genetic similarity estimates for 820 combinations following results. (1) All could unambiguously be identified a pattern. (2) The cultivars examined displayed low level diversity; they showed high toB. Vulgaris ssp.maritima but to other section I. (3) In most cases, present taxonomic classification was confirmed. Species II, III, IV clearly distinguishable from those I except forB. Macrocarpa, which II. second experiment, 108 single-copy Southern hybridized withB. procumbens DNA. surprisingly degree homology (34%) found. results are discussed regard genusBeta.
