摘要: Prompt gamma-ray neutron activation analysis (PGNAA) is a nuclear analytical technique for the determination of trace and other elements in solid, liquid or gaseous samples. The method consists observing gamma rays emitted by sample during irradiation. PGNAA system was built using moderated shielded deuterium–deuterium (D–D) generator. This facility has been developed to determine chemical composition materials. generator composed three major components: An RF-Induction Ion Source, Secondary Electron Shroud, Diode Accelerator Structure Target. produces monoenergetic neutrons (2.5 MeV) with yield 1010 n/s 25–50 mA beam current 125 kV acceleration voltage. γ-ray 10B concentrations Si SiO2 matrices carried out germanium detector (HPGe) results obtained are compared NaI detector. Neutron flux energy distribution from D–D at position calculated Monte Carlo simulation. interaction properties Germanium have studied.
