摘要: Abstract The Plasma and Ion Source Technology Group at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory has developed various types of advanced neutron generators for wide range applications. latest developments include a T–T fusion reaction based point generator Tensor Inc. airport cargo screening single beam, D–D axial imaging applications Adelphi These utilize RF-induction discharge to ionize the deuterium/tritium gas. This method provides high plasma density output current, atomic species from molecular gases, long life operation versatility chamber geometries. Stability allows accurate modeling beam dynamics in accelerator section these generators. Current status development with experimental data will be presented.
