摘要: Twenty first century systems toxicology approaches enable the discovery of biological pathways affected in response to active substances. Here, we briefly summarize current network that facilitate detailed mechanistic understanding impact a given stimulus on system. We also introduce our network-based method with two use cases and show how causal models combined computational methods provide quantitative insights. Our approach provides robust comparison transcriptional responses different experimental enables identification biomarkers modulated exposure. These advances can be applied pharmacology, where disease mechanisms adverse drug effects is imperative for development efficient safe treatment options.
