摘要: Egg size was used to estimate the energy incorporated into egg production in a sample of 24 species representing 11 families. mass scaled geometrically diameter. can be accurately estimated from easily measured diameter an egg. Comparison sizes between populations seven common Connecticut and Florida suggest is species-specific. The constancy density spider eggs allows relatively accurate estimates using obtained data on size, number per clutch, clutches.
