摘要: Natural killer (NK) cell cytotoxicity was monitored in 32 kidney transplant recipients during a double-blind, placebo-controlled trial of interferon alpha prophylaxis. During the first month following transplantation, NK diminished both and placebo-treated patients. Thereafter, mean values for decreased further recipients, whereas they returned toward baseline placebo recipients. Paradoxically, consistently augmented all patients vitro. Various immunosuppressive regimens were employed these slightly receiving prednisone azathioprine, moderately depressed those who received prednisone, OKT3 antibody. Three or four with clinically severe cytomegalovirus (CMV) infections had function. These studies indicate that variety factors including exogenous interferon, regimens, CMV can influence renal
