摘要: Aromatic compounds in small amounts function as antifoulant additives pyrolysis furnaces which are subjected to elevated temperatures from about 500°C 1200°C when thermally converting hydrocarbons ethylene well other useful products. These produce material that deposits and accumulates upon furnace surfaces including radiant coils transfer line exchangers. The present inhibit suppress the formation deposition of on surfaces. invention is a method for inhibiting coke heating section immediately downstream such contact with hydrocarbon feedstock comprises decoking furnace, prior processing feedstock, adding an compound furnace. selected group consisting substituted benzenes, naphthalenes, anthracenes, phenanthrenes, mixtures thereof wherein contains at least one substitutent having 2 carbon atoms. A thin catalytically inactive layer formed then fed into whereby inhibited against active during feedstock.
