摘要: In this paper, we use TERM-Water, a bottoms-up regional computable general equilibrium model of the Australian economy, to examine effects expanding trade irrigation water in southern Murray–Darling basin. We find that trading dampens impact allocation cuts on gross product (GRP). The benefits introducing within districts are greater than those further expansion between regions. Permitting seasonal allocations allows irrigators reallocate reaction climatic conditions and availability; it is flexibility enables GRP reductions be minimised. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
