Performance Pay, Training and Labor Mobility

摘要: Market imperfections may cause firms and workers to under-invest in specific training. This paper shows that profit sharing be a suitable instrument enhance training investments, either by enhancing wage °exibility or increasing the returns As result, not only increases productivity means of an effort effect, but also increased investments. Furthermore, results suggest older workers' employability can improved if profit-related remuneration is paid.
