摘要: The alpha-adrenoceptor agonists, clonidine and xylazine, produced a dose-dependent antinociceptive effect in the mouse writhing assay as does morphine. Fluoxetine, highly-specific inhibitor of serotonin uptake, enhanced morphine this test but not that or xylazine. In contrast, nisoxetine, selective noradrenergic significantly potentiated activity morphine, clonidine, These findings strengthen evidence for an involvement mechanism effects agonists.
