摘要: We present simple theoretical ideas which allow an understanding of part the scaling laws recently observed on branched fracture surfaces. Some these are argued to be common all critical structures, barely survive when propagating. This is exemplified by numerical results directed percolation cluster, serves as a good toy-model. Finally, we propose Langevin equation for unbranched cracks in three dimensions, naturally leads self-affine structures.
