摘要: Metal-ion- (Ag, Co, Ni and Pd) doped titania nanocatalysts were successfully deposited on glass slides by layer-by-layer (LbL) selfassembly technique using a poly(styrene sulfonate sodium salt) (PSS) poly(allylamine hydrochloride) (PAH) polyelectrolyte system. Solid diffuse reflectance (SDR) studies showed linear increase in absorbance at 416 nm with the number of m-TiO 2 thin films. The LbL assembled films tested for their photocatalytic activity through degradation Rhodamine B under visible-light illumination. From scanning electron microscope (SEM), had porous morphology atomic force (AFM) "rough" surfaces. rough surface resulted high areas hence (up to 97% over 6.5 h irradiation period) observed. Increasing multilayers increased film thickness an rate photodegradation due availability more (more sites photodegradation). strong adhesion properties which made them highly stable thus displaying same efficiencies after five (5) reusability cycles.
