摘要: BACKGROUND Quantitative estimation of the hemorrhage volume associated with aneurysm rupture is a new tool assessing prognosis. OBJECTIVE To determine prognostic value quantitative amount bleeding after aneurysmal subarachnoid hemorrhage, as well relative importance this factor related to other indicators, and establish possible cut-off poor outcome. METHODS A prospective cohort 206 patients consecutively admitted diagnosis Hospital 12 de Octubre were included in study. Subarachnoid, intraventricular, intracerebral, total volumes calculated using analytic software. For factors prognosis, univariate multivariate analysis (logistic regression) performed. The determining prognosis was established by calculating their proportion explained variation. Maximum Youden index optimal cut point for volume. RESULTS Variables independently clinical grade at admission, age, different volumes. variance higher bleeding. 20 mL both CONCLUSION Volumetric measurement or are independent hemorrhage. more than blood initial noncontrast computed tomography clear increase outcome risk.
