摘要: The aim of this study was to investigate the fate and behaviour butyltin pollutants, including monobutyltin (MBT), dibutylin (DBT), tributyltin (TBT), in waste stabilisation ponds (WSP). conducted as part a baseline survey included five sampling campaigns comprising bottom sludge water column from each pond typical WSP France. Butyltins were detected all raw wastewater effluents, reflecting their widespread use. Our results revealed high affinity between butyltins particulate matter accumulation taken anaerobic ponds. dissolved influent ranged 21.5 28.1 ng(Sn).L(-1) effluent, 8.8 29.3 ng(Sn).L(-1). concentrations 45.1 164 3.6-8.1 ng(Sn).g(-1) respectively first last showed an average treatment efficiency 71% for MBT, 47% DBT, 55% TBT. Laboratory sorption experiments enabled calculation distribution coefficient (Kd = 75,000 L.kg-1) TBT WSPs. Kd explained persistence after settling matter. continuous supply contaminated sorption-desorption processes led incomplete bio- photolytic degradation matrices throughout period. It is thus recommended use shallow pay particular attention when used soil amendment.
