摘要: Objective To investigate the changes of retinal nerve fiber layer (RNFL) thickness in obstructive sleep apnea syndrome (OSAS) patients. Methods Relevant studies were selected from 3 major literature databases (PubMed, Cochrane Library, and EMBASE) without language restriction. Main inclusion criteria is that a case-control study which RNFL was measured by commercial available optical coherence tomography (OCT) OSAS Meta-analysis performed using STATA 12.0 software. Efficacy estimates evaluated weighted mean difference with corresponding 95% confidence intervals (CIs). Primary outcome evaluations were: average total patients, subgroup analysis patients different stages, 4-quadrant Results Of initial 327 literatures, 8 763 eyes OSA 474 healthy controls included (NOS scores ≥6). For people OSAS, there had an 2.92 μm decreased compared (95% CI: -4.61 to -1.24, P = 0.001). mild, moderate, severe, moderate severe 2.05 -4.40 0.30, 0.088), 2.32 -5.04 0.40, 0.094), 4.21 -8.36 -0.06, 0.047), 4.02 -7.65 -0.40, 0.03), respectively. 4-quadrant, Superior, Nasal, Inferior, Temporal quadrant 2.43 -4.28 -0.57, 0.01), 1.41 -3.33 0.51, 0.151), 3.75 -6.92 -0.59, 0.02), 0.98 -2.49 0.53, 0.203), Conclusion Our suggests much thinner than population, especially superior inferior quadrant. The impact disease on visual function should be taken seriously further study.
