摘要: Similarities between the age-specific incidence pattern of testicular germ cell tumours (TGCTs) and cancers viral origin prompted us to evaluate relationship common infections occurring during childhood or young adult life TGCT using existing data from US Servicemen's Testicular Tumor Environmental Endocrine Determinants (STEED) case–control study. cases diagnosed 2002 2005 (n=767) were matched on age, race serum draw date at least one control (n=929). None evaluated associated with risk. Further, a meta-analysis mumps orchitis infection did not support an association (mumps pooled odds ratio (OR): 1.03, 95% confidence interval (CI): 0.89–1.20; OR: 1.80, CI: 0.74–4.42). Based our evaluation early meta-analyses and/or orchitis, does appear be infections.
