摘要: Decapsulation of Artemia spp. cysts in strong hypochlorite solutions reportedly increases the number nauplii that hatch. Commercial franciscano were subjected to four decapsulation methods prior hatching them aerated seawater. Samples removed from hatch vessels every 5 h 15 through 45 h, and fully hatched counted. The experiment was performed three times. No significant difference seen between mean numbers control obtained using method yielded best hatch: oxidation for min equal parts Clorox® seawater plus 6 mL a 40% NaOH solution, followed by reduction with 100 0.7 M sodium thiosulfate. A third treatment inferior either these, two others produced very low yields. It concluded evaluated, none is superior no at all, some are clearly detrimental developing embryos.
