摘要: This study describes an outbreak of Serratia marcescens and its investigation control in a neonatal intensive care unit (NICU). During three-month period, five infants were colonised or infected by single strain S. marcescens. A case-control study, culture surveys pulse-field gel electrophoresis analysis implicated bottle soap dispenser as reservoir (P=0.032).
