摘要: Abstract Plasmonic enhancement of the upconversion luminescence (UCL) via ultra-thin gold film was rarely investigated so far and photophysical mechanism not completely clear, although noble metal nanoparticles or nanorods have been used to enhance UCL upconverting nanophosphors. Two types sandwich geometry involving silanized nanophosphors were designed facilely fabricated. Both intensified quenched observed under excitation 980 nm NIR laser. Based on steady state spectra decay data, coupling energy with surface plasmon resonance (SPR) absorption band ultrathin significant roughness could be responsible for enhancement. Results indicated that employing SPR effect rough a promising strategy achieve efficient tunable UCL, which makes it more practical widespread applications.
