Mechanical Strength and Tribological Properties of Diglycidyl Ether of Bisphenol-A Cured by Poly(Amide-Amidic Acid) and 4,4’-Diaminodiphenylsulfone

摘要: Diglycidyl ether of bisphenol-A (DGEBA) was cured by poly(amide-amidic acid) (PAA) and a commonly used curing agent, 4,4’-diaminodiphenylsulfone (DDS), in different molar ratios. It found that the flexural strength, tensile tribological properties, thermal stability strongly depended on ratios PAA DDS mixed agents. The highest strength obtained when DGEBA with individually. increased increase content containing agents possessed lower friction coefficient than wear rate greatly decreased increasing agent. Tribological behaviors mechanisms were discussed observing morphology debris worn surfaces tested samples using scanning electron microscopy (SEM).
