摘要: We have established a procedure for automated, kinetic analysis of β-glucuronidase (GUS) activities using colorimetric or fluorometric microtiter plate reader connected to computer that directs the measurements and accesses data. Compared with end-point measurements, saves time, is more accurate, needs 20 times less material. It allows precise determination GUS over range 400,000-fold, limit detection about 0.01 units per mL in assay 0.1 milliunit assay. A general protocol transgenic plant tissue was worked out applied investigate expression chimeric gene stably transformed tobacco calli.
