摘要: Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma (NHL) remains the second most common malignant complication in patients with human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) infection. As we enter third decade of acquired syndrome (AIDS) epidemic, it is apparent that evolution antiretroviral therapy and emergence combination antiviral strategies have greatly affected natural history HIV infection its neoplastic complications. For example, there may be a trend for declining incidence AIDS-related United States first time. However, regions world where burden greatest, such as East Africa, an increasing cause morbidity mortality. Treatment has evolved coincident improvements therapy. Infusional chemotherapy regimens offer advantages over other schedules, but comparative trials not been done. Clinical trial data are available on which to develop therapeutic treat this disease Africa pragmatic approaches needed. Both differences manifestations inherent difficulties administering cytotoxic part must taken into consideration planning strategies. Improved understanding pathogenesis will likely yield improved interventions well.
