摘要: The exact mechanisms responsible for the development of port-site recurrences within abdominal wall are still unclear. Such can occur or not in close proximity with tumor. In any case, it has to be assumed that, a recurrence develop, tumor cells must present cavity (or disseminated during surgery by various mechanisms), and transported into site (hereafter port-site), where these finally find conditions growth.
