摘要: This study determined the livelihood conditions of peoples three villages (Bait Qaimwala, Basti Allahwali and Jannu) their dependency on biodiversity Taunsa Barrage Wildlife Sanctuary, Pakistan from 2009 to 2011. For socio-economic status, Participatory Human Resource Interaction Appraisal method was used for assessment, direct census point count were used. Floral contained 79 species plants including; trees (n=48 species); herbs (n=8 shrubs (n=9 grasses (n=7 reeds (n=5 species) weeds (n=2 species). Fauna included fish (n=21 species), amphibians (n=3 reptiles mammals (n=14 birds (n=171) species. The high illiteracy rate (64 percent) in surroundings TBWS estimated. Overall local community dependent wetland products use fuel wood (77 percent), livestock grazing (100 fishing (90 hunting, freshwater turtles trading (10 others (9 percent). Villagers who live mud-built houses constitute 42 percent, concrete 30 percent thatched 28 percent.
