摘要: The purpose of this paper is to predict health care utilization in the very old from a combination individual-based factors such as physical and mental health, attitudes beliefs, sociodemographic characteristics, life circumstances. This study was conducted within context Berlin Aging Study (BASE). Higher use medications most strongly predicted by more medical diagnoses, better cognitive status, attitudes. Physician contact only weakly variables, hypochondriasis, living alone. In contrast, alone greatest predictor increased levels caregiving services, while having children nearby served protective factor against need for formal services. These results show that depends on interaction between attitudinal, social factors.
