摘要: The increasing number of patients with adult congenital heart disease (ACHD) calls for the development noninvasive imaging techniques that allow a long-term evaluation native and postsurgical anatomy function. Echocardiography remains modality choice disease, but it is affected by limited acoustic windows poor tissue characterization. Cardiac computed tomography cardiac catheter angiography are 2 valid alternatives anatomic functional assessment ACHD; however, both use ionizing radiation, requires an invasive approach. magnetic resonance (CMR), noninvasively in absence has ability to evaluate biventricular function, quantify flows, characterize tissue, provide information on anatomy. Despite long acquisition time lower spatial resolution compared tomography, CMR represents ideal technique follow-up ACHD. now widely utilized well described literature regard diagnosis, identification complications, timing surgery, postoperative prognosis fundamental
