Symtoms and Social Adjustment of Schizophrenic Patients as Evaluated by Their Family Members: A Cross-Cultural Psychiatric Study between Offshore Islands and an Urban City

摘要: We conducted a comparative study of symptoms and social adjustment schizophrenic patients on offshore islands one urban region in Japan. In the evaluation behavior by family members, no differences were observed between two regions. Looking at regions, members either performance level or expectation socially expected activities. However, islands, activities was significantly higher than self-accomplishment set themselves. As for leisure activities, both island evaluated to be region, satisfaction themselves also islands. Considering these findings Japanese traditional views work leisure, it is believed that are required engage more productive less region. Further seems compared may have greater difficully adjustment.
