摘要: Abstract Objective to gain an understanding of how women conceptualise continuity maternity care. Design a qualitative study involving in-depth semi-structured interviews and thematic analysis. Setting range urban rural public hospitals in New South Wales, Australia. Participants 53 aged 18–44 years (median age 27 years) receiving care 2011–2012. Findings responses from suggested five concepts continuity: staff, relationship, information, across pregnancies locations. These differed by parity location. Conclusion implications for practice has variety meanings women. If health providers are commit providing woman-centred it is important recognise the diversity women׳s experiences, ensure that systems flexible appropriate circumstances needs.
