Fine needle vaginoplasty: a simplified novel approach for correction of vaginal aplasia

摘要: Objective To introduce a simple and easy surgical alternative for formation of neovagina in patients with vaginal aplasia that offers reasonable anatomic functional results. Design Case series. Setting University hospital. Patient(s) Three complete without uterus. Intervention(s) A silicone Foley catheter loaded into distal end fine needle passed extraperitoneally the space Retzius followed by its inflation traction 8 days. Main Outcome Measure(s) Operative time, complication rate, reintervention width length newly formed vagina, postoperative feasibility intravaginal sexual intercourse. Result(s) The results were satisfactory: normal neovagina, no complications, life within 7 to days after surgery. Conclusion(s) Fine vaginoplasty is simple, fast, safe, available extraperitoneal procedure correction aplasia. It can be done easily any gynecologist aware anatomy retropubic space.
