摘要: The ability of the cercariae Schistosoma mansoni to penetrate tails mice was shown remain constant throughout their lives. However, capacity establish themselves and then reach maturity decreased as they aged. abdominal route penetration produced consistently higher maturation rates than tail route. Significantly different were obtained by modifying standard infection technique. Evidence is presented that age-related mortality schistosomula occurs within 24 h may be associated with exhaustion energy reserves during stratum corneum. relationship this 'mass mortality' discussed.
