摘要: The genus Streptomyces comprises filamentous Gram-positive bacteria that are widely recognized for their ability to produce bioactive compounds such as antimicrobial, antiparasitic and immune-suppressing via secondary metabolism. These represent a third of all commercially available antibiotics. Streptomycetes have been found in beneficial associations with plants where they improved plant growth protected against pests, which attracted the attention researchers worldwide. This review focuses on potential streptomycetes growth-promoting (PGPS) considers features related metabolic pathways, interactions host recent advances elucidating mechanisms. Such basic knowledge increased prospects be used bioinoculants sustainable agriculture.
