摘要: Abstract : After the political regime in former Yugoslavia collapsed at beginning of 1990s, followed by ethnic civil wars Bosnia and Kosovo, Balkans turned into an arena for spread Islamic fundamentalism terrorism. As a result, region has posed potential threat within Europe's borders beyond. In 2012, Bulgaria became target terrorist attack. Although attack was directed against Israeli interests, event revealed breach Bulgaria's national security. The purpose this thesis is to illustrate how could develop strategy protect itself from such threats. Since relies on open-source historical data, rather than current information, its value-added contribution process it demonstrates collecting analyzing as opposed recommending particular strategy.
