摘要: The objective of the present paper is to analyse possible impact ENSO events on spatial and temporal distribution frost occurrences, within central region Argentina. Therefore, minimum temperature series have been studied for 41 meteorological stations Pampa Humeda and, a period 30 years from 1961 1990, exploring relationships with El Nino (EN)/La Nina (LN) changes in Southern Oscillation. It can be concluded that part frequency variability this explained by cycle. Results indicate that, at least 1 2 which EN event takes place, mean number occurrences drops below climatological value. low phase Oscillation Index (SOI) also coincides those remained total annual all cases, year 1965 as an exception. Conversely, during high SOI, was above four six classified cases. In particular case seasonal occurrence, it related warm development state, exhibiting greater autumn winter months, cold seems influence. Copyright © 2000 Royal Meteorological Society
