摘要: Abstract The reaction of factor G, ribosomes, and GTP to form a ternary complex has been investigated. formation the is associated with hydrolysis amount resulting ribosome-G-GDP formed increased in presence fusidic acid. In addition, acid, stoichiometry observed between GDP bound hydrolyzed. analog guanylyl-5′-methylenediphosphonate (GDPCP) can also G ribosomes but this unaffected by It suggested that mechanism action acid stabilize G-ribosome-GDP prevent its dissociation. All above reactions take place on 50S ribosomal subunit.
