摘要: Alignment is a critical component for modeling cross-directional (CD) papermaking process. It specifies the spatial relationship between individual CD actuators to paper quality measurements. Misalignment can occur unexpectedly due sheet wander or shrinkage variation. In certain applications and circumstances, misalignment of one third (1/3) actuator zone width result in significant degradation. Detecting identifying alignment closed loop are highly demanded mills but these nontrivial problems. A technique maintaining proper sheetmaking systems entails monitoring online, triggering identification if detected, then deploying new alignment. No personnel intervention required.
