摘要: With the projected increase in older adults, driver population is estimated to be fastest growing cohort of drivers among many developed countries. The increased physical fragility associated with aging process make adults who drive private automobiles a vulnerable road user group. Much current research on drivers’ behaviours and practices rely self-report data. This paper explores utility in-vehicle devices (Global Positioning Systems recording accelerometers) assessing habitual driving behaviours. Seventy-eight (above 65 years age), from Australian Capital Territory, Australia, participated study. these participants were prospectively assessed over two-week period. use combined GPS accelerometers improve understanding show promise within challenges using multiple beahaviours performances this will discussed. Based findings, recommendations for future regarding are proposed.
