摘要: Significant subclavian vein thromboses associated with indwelling fully implanted (port-a-cath) devices are described in two boys severe haemophilia A and factor VIII inhibitors. Investigations were prompted by prominent chest wall veins one case, whereas the thrombosis was a chance finding other case during investigation of mechanical dislocation catheter tubing. Extensive collateral venous circulations demonstrated venography both instances indicating that thrombus had been present for some time. Possible contributing factors to included desensitization therapy (both patients), high-dose FEIBA (in patient) use lower doses heparin line flush than recommended authors. Neither patient familial or non-familial predisposition thrombosis.
