摘要: OBJECTIVES. Among a cohort of long-term neuroblastoma survivors, our aims were to (1) assess the association between treatment intensity and parent-reported hearing loss in child, (2) evaluate strength academic psychosocial difficulties (3) examine child child9s self-reported quality life. PATIENTS AND METHODS. Through mailed survey that included Pediatric Quality Life Inventory 4.0 an outcomes questionnaire for parents, we evaluated 137 children (aged 8–17 years) who previously enrolled 1 2 Children9s Cancer Group clinical studies. RESULTS. Childhood survivors had prevalent loss, as reported by their at least twice risk identified problem with reading skills, math and/or attention similarly higher general learning disability special educational needs than did without loss. Consistent this finding, was associated 10-point-lower mean score school-functioning scale 4.0. We also observed clear pattern poorer quality-of-life scores among problems compared those such problems, particularly school functioning, even after controlling CONCLUSIONS. found evidence especially are elevated difficulties. strong concordance indications distress
